Course & competition
Five days of focused work for clarinettists of all ages — closing with a public concert and the third Giovanni Cavallin clarinet competition.
01
The course
The course is designed for clarinettists of all ages and runs for five days. The daily work concentrates on the foundations that make everything else possible: breathing, embouchure and chest technique — and on the craft of performing itself, including how to prepare mentally for competitions.
Everyone works individually with the professors on their own programme and plays in chamber ensembles led by Marija Župić Bošnjak. The week closes with a final concert, and those who wish can enter the competition and play for valuable prizes.
02
The competition
The Giovanni Cavallin clarinet competition, now in its third edition, is open exclusively to seminar participants as part of their development.
